| Description | Blue and green iridescent tafetta, fringe trim, bell sleeves. White eyelet dickie. Eyelet pieces added to create modesty. Lace top, tie closure at center back. Damage: silk is splitting in its age. Matching skirt with tie closure at center back. Donated to this collection in 1981. Has been altered multiple times. Sleeve length seems to have originally been at a cap sleeve, fabric was added to make the sleeves 3/4 to full length. Lace at neckline was also added. |
