DescriptionA royal blue jacket and skirt. The skirt is made of six panels. The front panel is large and has two darts in the front. It wraps past the side to the back where the other five panels are. It closes in the back with a hook and eye. The skirt would have been worn with a bussel. There is an inch and a half waist band. It is all lined with a light brown fabric. The Jacket closes with hooks and eyes in the front. It is decorated with lace on front and around armseye. There are two princess seams in the back and waist darts in the front. There are also decorative tucks and ruffles with ruching from pleats to shoulder seams on the front. There are two standing collars, the outer one is bigger and lined with light brown silk. Sleeves are the Gigot style, a very full puff with a fitted two piece on lower half. Cuff is turned up on front with light brown silk. The whole sleeve is lined with a fitted sleeve. Jacket has boning in seams.
