DescriptionUnion Pacific Uniform suit coat. Three silver button closure-center front with keyhole bound buttonholes. Buttons attached with cotter pins, accessible through hidden flap on inside of right front lining. Button front is embossed with "Union Pacific". Back stamped "American RY. Supply Co. *N.Y." Two silver metal lapel pins "U P" attached with screw pins. Boutonniere. Two front hip pockets with mock flaps. One slash left chest pocket. Pockets lined with satin twill, cream sail cloth, and cotton twill fabric. Sleeve hems have brown topstitching 4 1/4" & 4 5/8" above sleeve hem. Sleeves lined with tan satin. Inside chest and waist welt pockets, 2 each side. Manufacturer label at right chest upper inside pocket. Coat lining black heavy polyester twill. No back vent. Shoulders and center back tucks in lining for ease.
