| Description | Black silk taffeta, long jacket with appliqued cording embellishment design on front. Large leg of mutton sleeves gathered to 7" cuff with gathered ruffle at top and corded rouched 1" band at wrist. Midriff has 3" horizontal rouching with smocking under midfit piece, starting side front to side back. Split open front 25" long peplum. Back Bodice has invertered box pleat at center back and three pleats over each shoulder to the waist. Lining of a heavier weight, cream silk, 1/2" rick rack trim of cream and black and 1/4" braid down inside front. Hook and eye closures down front to waist. Open front 25" long. |
