Black Velvet Dress With Embroidery
| Description | Top has hook and eye closures down front. Bodice has sewn in corsetting stays. Black velvet v front with 3" of hand embroidery at waistline. 2 " high collar stand. Back neckline has sewn in split collar. Bodice and sleeves of striped suiting. Small leg-o-mutton sleeve with large velvet flutter over lay with 3 inches of black lace attatched. Skirt is of black striped suiting with three horizontal velvet strips graduating in size 1 1/2", 2", and 2 1/2" attatched at top. Gore added or pieced together at side seam. |
