Sleeves full and gathered at cap. Sleeve decoration includes: Fabric ribbon around circumference of arm, just below elbow, crossing, turning up to a diamond shape above elbow. Diamond filled in with bead and sequin pattern
pintucks at lower edge of fabric ribbon, 1" in length to new seam, released at upper edge of fabric ribbon, going upward
just below new seam is 1/2" wide pattern of beading and sequins, running around circumference of sleeve. Two rows of pleated ruffles, top row 2" wide, under row 4" wide, ending mid-forearm. Under bottom sleeve ruffle-silk (green) pleated ruffle, hemmed. 3.25" above hemline at bottom of gown, are 4 more pintucks, 3/8" apart. Back of gown: 41 pin tucks: divided, facing center-back in shoulder yoke area, as long as 6" long, released into bodice back
10 of the pin tucks pressed toward center back and captured in a diamond fabric ribbon (no beadwork) at center mid-back of gown, causing a cinching effect to bring in fullness of gown. Bottom ribbons of diamond continue in horizontal lines to side seams, appearing to create a belt for gown. The 10 captured, pressed lines are finally released at bottom of fabric ribbon decoration at center-back. A new 1" wide fabric ribbon is topstitched at knee height, parallel to hemline, starting at side front (next to knee), traveling around back of gown, ending at knee on other side. The ribbon pattern begins and ends at each knee with a 4" h. x 3" w. diamond shape, no beadwork fill. At bottom edge of knee-high fabric ribbon, starting at side seam are 2.5"-3" long pinticks, 1/2" apart, covering back half of gown, perpendicular to the floor.
