- A large circle compact of a yellowing off white color with floral print on the top of the outside compact. Clasp is metal of a gold color. On the inside is a mirror, puff, and face powder. The puff is pink felt like material with a white ribbon running across the top with the words Fifth REX Avenue print on the ribbon. The ribbon most likely was used as a handle for puff. The face Powder is of a light pink color. A piece of fabric is covering the powder, and the fabric is designed to be removed most likely to refill the powder. On the inside below the hinge it says Made in U.S.A. Pat 2163429. The Pat 2163429 is the Patent number of the compact. Slightly dirty on the inside from the powder covering the mirror and the metal surrounding the makeup.
