- Virginia Newmas Ellis wore this bodice at her daughter's wedding in 1947. Called a "waist". Black lined silk jacket with black braid trim down the front, across back and at bottom of sleees. The sleeves are leg-of-mutton style. At the bottom of the jacket is a self-fabric pleated trim. Hook & eye front closure.

- Grey and green tailor made set from Edwardian Era. Jacket: Form fitted, 3/4 length set in sleeves with cording at shoulder seam. Silk trim and pleats at cuffs. Peplum waistline with cording, hook and eye closures down center front, decending v shape trim on front of bodice and smaller version in back. Collar stand neckline with cording. Structural lines all around to fit bodice to the wearer. Skirt: Floor length, silk trim, several swoops around skirt with rouching on top layer of skirt. Tiered trim at bottom three layers.
