DescriptionA royal blue jacket and skirt. The skirt is made of six panels. The front panel is large and has two darts in the front. It wraps past the side to the back where the other five panels are. It closes in the back with a hook and eye. The skirt would have been worn with a bussel. There is an inch and a half waist band. It is all lined with a light brown fabric. The Jacket closes with hooks and eyes in the front. It is decorated with lace on front and around armseye. There are two princess seams in the back and waist darts in the front. There are also decorative tucks and ruffles with ruching from pleats to shoulder seams on the front. There are two standing collars, the outer one is bigger and lined with light brown silk. Sleeves are the Gigot style, a very full puff with a fitted two piece on lower half. Cuff is turned up on front with light brown silk. The whole sleeve is lined with a fitted sleeve. Jacket has boning in seams.

Jacket is asymmetric with hook,and hand sewneye closure, 3" ruffle down side. Two piece sleeve, two vents at wrist with ruffle underneath. Draped fabric over fitted sleeve with ruffle down center Draped neckline. Satin bows over both rolled back shoulders seams. Lining has Princess lines but overlay does not.

DescriptionDark Brown linen dress consisting of a jacket and skirt. Jacket has shoulder princess seams and ten buttons down the front with hand sewn button holes. Armseye has rust brown piping. Two piece sleeve with rust brown ruffle at the wrist. Satin ribbon bows on back of wrists. Mandarin style collar. Skirt was worn with a bustle. eight tucks are in the side back seam. Back panel has two layers that are both trimmed with a rust colored ruffle. The ruffles have an inch wide band. There are four ruffles along the bottom, the top and third down are two inches wide. The second ruffle and the bottom ruffle are four inches wide. In the front there is ruching at center front, two inches wide. The top ruffle come up in the front to meet the ruching

Skirt is made up of seven panels. Three in back, four in front. Sides have belt loops.

There are fourteen buttons down center front and a lapped metal zipper down the left side. It has a sweetheart neckline with a pleated ruffle collar. Bodice front is one piece and has gathers and waist darts. Bodice back is also one piece with waist darts. At the waist there is a bow like ruffle. Skirt is made of six panels, the center front one has an upward V. Old number E034.

Seams are pinked. Tag in the side seams reads, Union Label Ladies garment union workers.

The bodice front has two waist darts and a yoke. The yoke is formed by and decorated with pin tucks. The skirt is made up of five panels, two in the front and three in the back.
